Reassessing The Situation

I haven't slept in 2 days. My Manhattan studio is freezing and while I should be asleep, I'm editing my personal wardrobe.

BEASTING

I recently discovered Fashion filmmaker and photographer Nick Knight.

For Arena Homme+ Magazine, Knight photographed John Galliano's men's A/W 07 line and titled it Beasting.

Knight is also responsible for Bjork's video, Pagan Poetry, in which we see her having sex with her partner and sewing pearls into her skin.

KAZUO OHNO

Kazuo Ohno is a Japanese performance artist who, at the age of 102, is being featured in the Autumn / Winter 09 issue of AnOther Magazine.

Ohno moved in a way that is both elegant and frightening.

Sadly, he can no longer dance, move or speak.

FREE SMELLS

Terry Richardson photographed artist Aurel Schmidt for issue #11 of Purple Fashion Magazine.

I love the styling and cigarette box necklace just as much as I love Schmidt's work.

OBSESSION

Leather, ankle-high, lace up, 2" inch heal, fringe toe boots.
I've worn these practically everyday since I got them in April.
They go with everything I own!

I love watching Kim Deal comb her hair.

2009 CHRISTMAS GIFT

For Christmas this year, my gift came from the postman, sent to me by sister in New York. It's a beautiful black pashmina scarf. Chinatown Chic at it's finest.
